$BANANA Token
Apes need to eat. It’s a fairly simple concept. That’s why we built ApeSwap to create the $ BANANA token to fuel the Binance Smart Chain Ape community.
In the end, we all try to keep up with the next big project. Well ApeSwap was that project and we took the monkey to the moon.
We plan to enforce a number of pillars:
- Transparency: around our tokens and projects, and our actions. We recognize that it will take time to build this trust.
- Fair launches: Check out the disclosure section, we’ve listed every decision we made around launching and why we made those decisions.
- Disclosure of our actions: If we spend developer funds, we will document what the funds were used for in this section of the GitBook Development Fund and include a TX hash. If we do an update to the smart contract, we will use that time and document lock as well.
Decentralized Finance is booming, and we are very ape-ish (new bull) on the Binance Smart Chain. We thought we could do a better job than the existing project and were excited to ride this rocket with all the real DeFi Apes.

Monkeys like to party together and when you party, you feel hungry. That’s why we have a Banana pond, so you can feast on your fellow monkeys and get more Bananas to eat. Obie Dobo will make sure to keep the zoo in order and the Bananas are ripe and ready to be picked

ApeSwap Exchange
Apes standard goods, swap fee of 0.3%. Obie Dobo has to guard the zoo so we can keep the rockets on track to the moon. 0.05% of the swap fee will go to the developer’s wallet. The rest went to Kera at the zoo.

Early Monkey Show (IAO)

Starting IAO
An Initial Ape Offering (IAO) is a fundraising tool used to launch new tokens and bring liquidity to them. In general, you need LP BANANA-BNB tokens to participate in the IAO. Basically you are trading that LP for the tokens that are launched.
In the IAO, the project gets BNB, ApeSwap burns BANANA.
How to participate in the IAO
To participate in the IAO and see which ones are coming, visit ApeSwap.Finance/IAO.
To get ready for sale:
- Buy BNB and BANANA tokens.
- Get LP BANANA-BNB tokens by providing liquidity at ApeSwap.
What to do during a sale:
- While the sale is taking place, do your LP BANANA-BNB tokens to buy IAO tokens. You buy tokens with your LPs. This is not the same as “staking”.
What to do after sale:
- When the sale is complete, claim the IAO token that you have purchased. Your unused funds will also be sent back to you.
- Done! If there is excess demand, you can revoke the remaining BANANA-BNB LP tokens.
What is the “Overflow” sales method?
TLDR: Basically, the more you put in, the more you’ll get, and you’ll get back anything you didn’t spend.
In the “Overflow” method, users can subscribe as much or as little as they want to the IAO, and their final allocation will be based on the amount of funds they put in as a percentage of all funds put in by other users at the end of the sale. The user will receive back the remaining funds when they claim their token after the sale.
The roadmap for the milestone for 2021 has been outlined on the platform’s blog and anything that goes well must be accomplished in time. Apart from that, ApeSwap is very open to community and user participation and all users are invited to contribute ideas and things they would like to see on the trading platform.
